Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre Utrecht Bunnik combines sustainability with technical innovation
It’s time to raise the flag at Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre Utrecht Bunnik, as they have successfully achieved YOIN re-certification. Chapeau!
This hotel chain is keen to stay ahead of the curve, particularly when it comes to making catering more sustainable. Since last summer, they have adopted Plant First: plant-based cuisine as the foundation of their food offering.
Sustainability is therefore high on the agenda, explains General Manager Ronald Cordes:
“We are the first hotel chain in the Netherlands to take this step. Our hotel in Bunnik—once the very first roadside restaurant in the Netherlands along the A12, then known as Motoresto—also became the first hotel this year to introduce Book & Pay. Through our website, you can reserve a meeting room and pay instantly. Our Convention Centre has been named Best XXL Venue 2026 in the Province of Utrecht by MeetingReview. The YOIN re-certification is a wonderful recognition for our hotel and a great compliment to our team.”
Auditor Bianca Cuperus can only praise this strategy:
“It’s great to see how the venue continues to invest in restyling and making the building more sustainable. The same applies to catering: by choosing the Plant First concept, an important step has been taken towards contributing to a more sustainable society with less environmental impact. Respect!”
Congratulations on behalf of the YOIN family!
